tolo bay views

two individual holiday houses were proposed on the top of the hill above the Argolic bay and the lush valley, of the historic area of the ancient Asini.

the proposal exploits the breath-taking view to the sea and the surrounding natural environment, both from the outdoor area and the interior space, by framing selected views.

the tremendous slope of the plot, along with the preservation of the majority of the existing olive trees, allows privacy to both buildings, without blocking their views.

the proposal also tries to enhance the traditional ways of built, by using stone walls (partly exposed and partly plastered), pitch and planted roof, rough wood and stone slates on the floors.
